Ahead of the first assembly session today after the formation of new government in Telangana, the ruling Congress party has allotted portfolios to 11 Cabinet Ministers who took oath the other day when Revanth Reddy was sworn-in as the Chief Minister after its victory in the recent elections.
As per the official statement, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has been handed over the responsibility to look after the State Finances. He will be the Finance & Planning , Energy Minister in the new cabinet. Another senior party loyalist, Uttam Kumar Reddy is given dual responsibility as he will take charge as Civil Supplies and Irrigation Minister.
Tummala Nageswara Rao is going to serve as Agriculture Minister and Damodar Rajanarasimha will handle the Health Ministry. Jupalli Krishna Rao and Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy will look after the Excise and Roads and Buildings ministries respectively.
As expected Sridhar Babu is given the IT Ministry. He will also act as the minister for Assembly affairs. Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy will take care of Communication Ministry. Ponnam Prabhakar is given the portfolio of Transport Ministry and Konda Surekha will be the incharge of Tribal Affairs.
Three time MLA and people’s leader Seethakka will handle the Panchayat Raj Ministry.
Surprisingly, the key portfolio of Home Ministry has not been allocated to any of the present cabinet ministers.

1. A Revanth Reddy: MAUD, General Administration, Law & Order & other unallocated portfolios
2. Bhatti Vikramarka Mallu: Finance & Planning, Energy
3. N Uttam Kumar Reddy: Irrigation & CAD, Food & Civil Supplies
4. C. Damodar Raja Narasimha: Health, Medical & Family Welfare, Science and Technology
5. Komatireddy Venkat Reddy: Roads & Buildings, Cinematography
6. Duddilla Sridhar Babu: Information Technology, Electronics & Communications Industries & Commerce Legislative Affairs
7. Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy: Revenue and Housing, Information & Public Relations
8. Ponnam Prabhakar: Transport, BC Welfare
9. Konda Surekha: Environment & Forests, Endowment
10. D. Anasuya Seethakka: Panchayat Raj & Rural Development (including Rural Water Supply), Women & Child Welfare
11. Tummala Nageswara Rao: Agriculture, Marketing, Co-operation, and Handlooms & Textiles
12. Jupally Krishna Rao: Prohibition & Excise, Tourism & Culture and Archaeology
