The strained relationship between NTR and two illustrious families of ‘Nara’ and ‘Nandamuri’ is once again evident with another recent incident – Nara Rohit’s engagement.
It is a known fact that Nandamuri family has been maintaining distance with NTR for quite some time now. Nandamuri Balakrishna and both NTR and Kalyan Ram have been at loggerheads from the past few years. There have been several instances that exposed the differences between the two Nandamuri heroes and the rest of the family.
Both NTR and Kalyan Ram didn’t take any active role in the recent elections and also stayed away from key events relating to both Nandamuri and Nara families. Even the Telugu Desam Party cadre also ignored NTR due to his silence and diplomatic stance when Chandrababu Naidu was arrested and Nara Bhuvaneshwari was abused by leaders like Kodali Nani and Vallabhaneni Vamshi who were once very loyal to Nandamuri family and also NTR.
But, some of the recent developments did hint some reconciliation of ties between both the Nandamuri brothers and also the two families. The current government led by Chandrababu Naidu granted permissions and allowed a hike in ticket prices for NTR’s recent release Devara for which Kalyan Ram was the producer. Also, NTR cordially welcomed Balakrishna’s son into Tollywood. He posted on social media about Mokshagna and surprised everyone. Moreover, both NTR and Kalyan Ram donated for AP floods.
Despite all this, it seems like NTR continues to be ignored by both Nara and Nandamuri families. He has not been invited for the engagement of Nara Rohit which was recently held in Hyderabad. Chandrababu, Lokesh and other close relatives of both families were invited. But, there is invitation for both NTR and Kalyan Ram.
Nara Rohit is a Tollywood actor and also closely related to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. He also maintains a cordial relationship with NTR as well. Being a top actor and also a close family member for Rohit, NTR should generally be invited for the engagement.
But, there is no invitation to NTR. Sources say that the Nara family avoided NTR only because they don’t want to ruffle Balakrishna who is hell-bent on keeping both NTR and Kalyan Ram out from the family affairs and TDP matters. So, after the Nandamuri family, it is Nara family which is ignoring NTR.
