Hyderabad: The Justice L. Narasimha Reddy Commission, in its ongoing inquiry into decisions regarding the construction of Yadadri and Bhadradri thermal power stations, as well as the Chhattisgarh power purchase agreement, has served notices to former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR).
The notices pertain to KCR’s role in the Chhattisgarh power purchase deal. The commission has requested an explanation from him by the 30th of this month. However, KCR has sought an extension until July 30 to provide his response.
This development comes amidst KCR’s ongoing challenges following defeats in both the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
