Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is sailing on two boats. He is shooting for his upcoming films and simultaneously taking part in political activities of the Janasena party. In recent times, he preferred to allot much time to politics because of the prevailing political atmosphere in Andhra Pradesh. So, he is unable to take part in shooting continuously. Because of his unavailability, some planned schedules were deferred by his directors.
Going by the current scenario, it looks like no film of Pawan Kalyan will be released before the assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh. It is well known that Pawan has been going all-out against the ruling YSRCP party. His previous outings suffered due to various technical hurdles put in place by the government. Issues such as ticket prices and special shows played a significant role in the collections.
His upcoming two films OG and Ustaad Bhagat Singh are being made on massive budgets. So, they will find it extremely difficult to recoup the investment if the government comes again with similar restrictions. Hence, Pawan Kalyan wants to defer the release till the elections. He is confident that YSRCP will cease to be in power due to the heavy anti-incumbency.
Moreover, Pawan Kalyan cannot finish the pending portions of both films in the next few months because he is likely to concentrate more on political activities. Therefore, there won’t be any release for Pawan before the elections.
