Upasana Konidela, wife of star actor Ram Charan, hosted a grand party last night in Hyderabad to felicitate his father-in-law and Tollywood Megastar Chiranjeevi who was conferred with the second highest civilian award Padma Vibhushan by the government of India last week.
The guest list of this occasion included limited celebs from Tinsel Town and the political spectrum. Actors Nagarjuna and Victory Venkatesh attended the event with their families. Mahesh Babu’s wife Namrata Shirodkar also was present at the celebrations. Telangana CM Revanth Reddy and other key politicians like Kavitha Kalvakuntla, Uttam Kumar Reddy and Kishan Reddy were among those who got special invitations from Upasana.
Surprisingly, Upasana didn’t invite anyone from the Nandamuri and Nara families to this event. Neither Chandra Babu Naidu nor Balakrishna seems to have received an invitation from Upasana. Even Jr. NTR who is a close friend of Ram Charan was also not invited.
Upasana maintains a cordial relationship with Nara Brahmani, daughter of Balakrishna, and Pranathi, wife of NTR. However, the reasons for omitting both families to this event are not known.
It may be noted that Balakrishna invited the entire Mega family to the centenary celebrations of his father NTR’s birth anniversary held last year. Ram Charan surprised everyone by attending the event where he spoke highly about NTR.
So, it would be a big surprise if Upasana really didn’t invite anyone from both these illustrious families.
