The TRS government in Telangana received harsh criticism from Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for increasing indebtedness above FRBM ceilings. She claimed that Telangana’s revenue surplus budget had turned into a revenue deficit budget as a result of the state’s enormous debts.
