Actor Nikhil Siddhartha has responded to the recent mishap on the sets of his upcoming film The India House, assuring fans that the team is safe. The incident occurred on Wednesday night at a set constructed near Shamshabad. “Sometimes, risks are unavoidable when trying to deliver a powerful cinematic experience. An accident occurred during such a moment. Thanks to the safety measures taken by our crew, we escaped without major injuries. Unfortunately, we lost expensive equipment. By God’s grace, there was no loss of life,” Nikhil stated.
The accident happened when a large water tank, set up for a sea sequence, burst and flooded the set. Several crew members sustained minor injuries and were given first aid. Equipment and props on set were water-damaged.
The India House is being presented by Ram Charan and directed by Ram Vamsi Krishna. The film is a joint production by Abhishek Agarwal Arts and V Mega Pictures. It stars Nikhil alongside actress Saiyami Kher, with veteran actor Anupam Kher playing a key role. Set in 1905, the film weaves themes of love and revolution into a compelling historical narrative.
