The National Investigation Agency’s counter to the Supreme Court of India has given a whole new narrative. Terming the entire case as nonpolitical, the NIA urged the Justice to quash the case.
It is a known fact that an alleged hardcore fan of YSRCP, Srinivasa Rao had attacked the YSRCP Chief YS Jagan in Visakhapatnam Airport and created a sensation. It was heavily portrayed that TDP was behind this attack whereas the TDP claimed that the attack was made by Jagan himself to gain sympathy. Amidst all this, the case which has been under investigation since 2018 got a new turn. Jagan who skipped his questioning of being the victim asked the NIA to finish the case as soon as possible and the NIA in its latest counter declared that the attack by Srinivas on Jagan was neither political nor personal. In other words, NIA ruled out the possibility of TDP sketching the entire attack or anyone. This is indeed shocking for many who expected firm support against Jagan.
Meanwhile, the advocates representing AP CM Jagan asked for more time to file a counter for the NIA’s affidavit in this issue. The Apex Court however stated that the next hearing on this case would be on the next Monday. Everyone has set their eyes on this hearing to know the outcome of this sensational case after YS Viveka’s murder in AP.
