The Minister of Urban Development of Telangana, KT Rama Rao who is known for his developmental schemes has brought in a new technology to battle both heat waves and electricity consumption. By bringing in new technology, KTR expressed its confidence to bring down power consumption.
KTR the other day announced a new rule that is implemented immediately within the HUDA region where all the public and non-resident buildings should be equipped with the new sunroof technology to reduce the heat that is dissipated from the roof into the house in Summers. He made it mandatory for all the buildings that are constructed from the 1st of April or else their permissions shall be canceled. This rule would also be implemented for residential buildings that are constructed in more than 600 Sq Yards. For those residential buildings which are under 600 sq. Yards, it is optional for them. Everyone is applauding KTR for this new rule which would bring down a change for real.
With this new sun roofing, almost 4 degrees difference would be there between the outside and inside bringing down the usage of fans and air conditioners. Reports say that this roofing would save as much as 600 million units per year if implemented correctly.
