On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a reduction of Rs 100 in the prices of LPG cylinders in celebration of International Women’s Day. Taking to his official X handle, PM Modi declared, “Today, on Women’s Day, our Government has decided to slash LPG cylinder prices by Rs. 100. This move will significantly alleviate the financial strain on countless households nationwide, particularly benefiting our Nari Shakti. “By enhancing the affordability of cooking gas, we also aim to bolster family well-being and promote a healthier environment. This aligns with our commitment to empower women and ensure their ‘Ease of Living’.”
