Nara Lokesh Victory in Mangalagiri

TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh achieved the seemingly impossible, securing victory in Mangalagiri. Despite facing a tough challenge from YSRCP candidate Lavanya, Lokesh’s win marked a historic moment for the TDP, which had not won the Mangalagiri assembly seat for decades. Out of 15 elections held in this constituency, the TDP had won only twice, with the last victory in 1985.

In 2019, Lokesh contested and lost in Mangalagiri but remained dedicated to the constituency. His various service initiatives have undoubtedly increased his popularity and positive perception among the people, contributing to this significant victory.
