Nara Lokesh Taken Charge As IT & Human Resource Minister

Ahead of the first meeting of Chandrababu Naidu’s new cabinet, Nara Lokesh took charge as IT and Education Minister. Lokesh, who came to the secretariat to take charge, was welcomed by Satyanarayana, chief secretary of the Endowment department, with `Purna Kumbham’.   Amid Vedic chanting, Minister Lokesh stepped into his chamber. A special pooja was performed in the chamber.

He took charge at 9.45 am in the secretariat. Lokesh signed the first  file related to the procedures of Mega DSC and sent it to the cabinet for approval. Lokesh’s office has been set up in room 208 on the first floor of the 4th block in the Secretariat.

Before taking charge, Lokesh took steps towards cleaning up his departments. Revolutionary reforms were initiated in the field of education. Lokesh has already issued clear instructions to the officials to prepare a 100-day action plan for creating jobs in the IT and electronics sectors.

He removed the towel wrapped around his minister’s chair as he did not want any noise. Lokesh has given his first signature as the minister of the concerned department on the document signed by Chief Minister Chandrababu Babu for the filling of 16, 347 posts through Mega DSC. Mega DSC regulations were drawn up and submitted to the cabinet and signed.
