Natural Star Nani’s 31st film was formally announced earlier today. Director Vivek Athreya of Ante Sundaraniki fame is going to call shots for this film and it is expected to tread a new path in Tollywood with a unique plot. Saripoda Sanivaram is the tentative title for this film. DVV Danayya is going to pool resources.
As the project is set to be launched on Dussehra, the makers have finalized the leading lady for Nani. Reportedly, Chennai damsel Priyanka Arul Mohan has been roped in to pair up with Nani for the second time in her career. They previously shared screen space for Vikram Kumar’s mystery thriller Gang Leader.
The chemistry between Nani and Priyanka worked very well and created a strong impression on viewers. Hence, their pairing is expected to generate good buzz for Nani 31.
Priyanka is currently on a career-high with a bunch of big-ticket films in her kitty. She is working on Pawan Kalyan’s much-anticipated gangster drama ‘OG’ and Thalapathy Vijay’s 68th film. She has a couple of other Tamil films on the horizon. Having bagged Nani 31, she will set sights on consolidating her position in South Cinema.
