Akkineni Nagarjuna is yet to commence the shooting formalities of his upcoming film Naa Saami Ranga. The makers have shot only a few episodes to unveil the first teaser on his birthday last month. But, they are confident in completing the entire filming in less than four months.
Though it is going to be a herculean task to complete a big-budget entertainer in a short span, Nagarjuna is determined to occupy the Sankranti berth with Naa Saami Ranga. Despite heavily packed season with a bunch of releases, they are sure that the mass elements with gain traction during the festival season.
He has reportedly allotted bulk dates for this rural drama and directed the team to ensure that the film hits the screens in January second week. He has asked the director to shoot the entire talkie part at a single stretch.
Reiterating the release date, the makers released a new poster today on the eve of Vinayaka Chavithi and asserted that Naa Saami Ranga will create ‘Mass Jatara’ during Sankranti. Nag appears in an ultra-mass avatar with Panche Kattu and smoking a cigar. There is a vintage car in the poster with ‘King’ on the number plate.
Directed by Vijay Binni, the film has its story penned by Prasanna Kumar Bezawada. MM Keeravani is rendering the soundtrack.
