Jana Sena Party chief and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan declared that his party has achieved a significant milestone despite facing defeat in the elections. Addressing the party’s 12th-anniversary celebrations at Chitrada near Pithapuram in Kakinada district, he emphasized the party’s resilience and achievements.
“We stood firm and upheld the party. We safeguarded the four-decade-old TDP. In 2019, when we faced defeat, they mocked us and humiliated our women. When brave women questioned the injustice, they were slapped with cases and jailed. Even a leader with 40 years of political experience was imprisoned. They conspired against me to suppress my spirit and challenged that I wouldn’t be able to enter the Assembly. Today, with 21 MLAs in the Assembly and two MPs in Parliament, we have achieved a 100% strike rate that has drawn national attention. It’s courage that brought me this far, and bravery is my shield,” Pawan Kalyan stated.
Advocates for Linguistic Harmony
Highlighting the importance of unity, Pawan Kalyan said, “Jana Sena’s birthplace is Telangana, and my field of action is Andhra Pradesh. My Telangana is a land of rich heritage. When I was on the verge of death due to an electric shock, it was the grace of Kondagattu Anjaneya that saved me. I was influenced by Dasharathi’s literature. We play the Rudra Veena and shower fire. Multiple languages are the strength of India. There should be a common ideology across all states, including Tamil Nadu. I urge not to discuss films at the Jana Sena event, as our soldiers here have sacrificed their lives for ideology, not cinema. Around 450 Jana Sena workers died for the cause, not for movies.”
Credits Seven Ideologies for Success
“Our 100% strike rate is the result of seven core ideologies. I was passionate about showcasing patriotism in films. Would I have launched a party without understanding society? Does one need a father as Chief Minister or an uncle as Union Minister to start a party? Or should one kill their uncle to gain power? I ran this party for a decade, sacrificing my personal life and health. Yet, this *Jayaketanam* event has given me immense satisfaction. I entered politics to bring change in society, not for votes. My ideology is to unite diverse individuals.
A strong nation requires strong citizens. Only when youth stand firm for the country can the nation transform. It’s time for young leadership to shape the future. Sanatana Dharma flows in my blood; I don’t need to prove it,” he concluded.
