Veteran actor Mohan Babu expressed deep sorrow over the demise of senior actor Kota Srinivasa Rao, who passed away on July 13. Unable to attend the final rites due to being abroad at the time, Mohan Babu personally visited Kota Srinivasa Rao’s residence in Hyderabad and paid floral tributes.
Speaking to the media, Mohan Babu said, “Kota Srinivasa Rao was a dear friend. We shared a strong personal and professional bond. I was not in the country when he passed away, and I regret not being able to be there on that day.”
Describing Kota as a rare talent, he added, “He was one of the finest actors in the industry—whether in comic roles, villainous characters, or dialect-based performances, he delivered each with unmatched brilliance. His absence is an irreplaceable loss to the film industry.”
Mohan Babu also shared that both families were closely connected and had spent several occasions together. His emotional tribute has since gone viral on social media, resonating with fans and industry colleagues alike.
