Strongly reacting to the YCP MP Vijayasai Reddy’s ‘quitting of politics’ announcement, former minister and TDP MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that the five years of Vijayasai Reddy’s regime was a nightmare for the people of Visakhapatnam. He lamented that the YCP leader did not leave lands that touched his eye and grabbed most of such lands by threatening them and their family members.
He recalled that earlier he had exposed such land grabbing episodes in the name of `Vizag Files’. He alleged that many people were threatened, their properties were demolished and their lands were occupied. Whatever illegal acts committed by YS Jaganmohan Reddy all over the state, were repeated by Vijayasai Reddy in Visakha, he added.
He made it clear that after looking into his tweet of ‘quitting politics’ one can only feel pity, laughter and surprise, but people cannot forget his anarchistic activities. Ganta warned that legal action will be taken for all the mistakes committed by him and he will be held responsible for his deeds.
Moreover, the former minister said that YSRCP is a sinking boat, in the end except Jagan, no one will be left. He said one can understand the miserable condition of that party when a shadow partner now wants to leave Jagan, looking after his own way.
Ganta Srinivasa Rao predicted that soon another Rajya Sabha member Ayodhya Ramaiah will also resign from that party. He accused that Jaganmohan Reddy’s attitude is the reason for the party’s present deplorable situation. He said that the true face of the YSRCP has been revealed.
Meanwhile, the TDP MLA was extremely angry that the YSRCP is acting like a blind fool in the matter of the steel plant package. He wanted to know what the YSRCP has done in the matter of the steel plant in the past? He said that Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh tried their best to attract investments for the state during their recent Davos visit.
He said that Google, TCS and more companies are coming to Visakhapatnam shortly. He said that in the past, there was a situation where people were afraid to come to AP. But, TDP top leaders are taking all pains to create a brand again for the state. He advised that it would be good if the YSRCP stopped unnecessary politics and reformed the party.
