Notably, Mithun Reddy’s name was never uttered in the discussion, yet he quickly interjected, accusing CM Ramesh of representing the TDP rather than the BJP.
The BJP has been consistently vocal about the liquor scam, with AP BJP President Purandeswari revealing crucial details about large-scale fund diversions and money laundering before the elections. However, Mithun Reddy appeared visibly unsettled by these revelations, aggressively pushing the narrative that the biggest financial scandal in Andhra Pradesh is Margadarsi.
TDP leaders are now questioning why Mithun Reddy reacts so defensively whenever the liquor scam surfaces. While no official charges have been filed against him, even Jagan Reddy himself has hinted at Minister Peddireddy and his son’s involvement. Despite attempts to downplay his role, reports indicate that Mithun Reddy was instrumental in facilitating money laundering and fund transfers—perhaps explaining his nervous demeanor whenever the topic is brought up.
