The mighty megastar Chiranjeevi participated yesterday in the glorious 200 days celebrations of his previous release ‘Waltair Veerayya’ with the team. While speaking about the movie, the favorite matinee idol expressed his opinion on Government’s involvement in the Cinema Industry which went viral.
While answering someone’s question, Chiranjeevi stated that Governments should focus on developing the state, empowering the youth and the poor, getting sanctions and projects, getting Special Category Status, developing infrastructure and hospitals, etc but it should not attack the most sensitive and creative Movie Industry. Needless to say, his comments direct the AP Government as he incidentally used the Special Status which only belongs to the issues of AP but immediately the ruling party leaders of YSRCP made some derogatory comments indirectly. Kodali Nani dared to say that some dogs have a say on how a government should function and it is funny.
Both movie lovers and political onlookers opine that when the Government reduces the prices of tickets and even keeps government officers at the ticket window to monitor, how come movie biggies shouldn’t have a say regarding the government. The ardent fans of Megastar went a step further and declared that Chiranjeevi has all the rights to talk about AP Government since he was an ex-MP. However, these comments coming after the fact that the YSRCP Minister Ambati Rambabu interfered in his brother Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Bro collections made it look like Chiru intentionally targeted the AP Government.
