Hyderabad: Actor, producer, and educationist Manchu Vishnu is expanding his ventures into the media entertainment technology sector with the launch of Tarang Ventures. The company is being established with an investment of $50 million and aims to drive innovation in entertainment technology and media.
Manchu Vishnu announced that Hollywood superstar Will Smith is open to partnering with Tarang Ventures, with discussions reportedly nearing completion. “We will soon share some good news regarding this collaboration,” Vishnu stated.
Tarang Ventures will include a diverse team of partners, such as financial expert Adishree, Canadian investor Pradyuman Jhala specializing in real estate and pension funds, Vinay Maheshwari with deep expertise in the Indian media landscape, and investment specialist Dinesh Chawla. Additionally, Satish Kataria will contribute as a strategic partner. Several other investors from India and Delaware have also shown interest in participating in this venture.
The company aims to invest in technologies that meet industry needs, focusing on areas such as OTT platforms, animation, gaming, blockchain, and emerging technologies like Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Tarang Ventures is set to capitalize on opportunities arising from the changing entertainment landscape, aligning itself with modern technological trends.
