‘Arjun Reddy’ fame director Sandeep Reddy Vanga is a forthright person. He never minces his words during media interactions and other public events. His outspoken statements often go viral on social media platforms.
As his upcoming film Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles, is getting ready for release on December 1st, Sandeep Reddy is currently busy promoting it aggressively. To create more hype in the Telugu States, a grand pre-release event is being held today evening in Hyderabad. Mahesh Babu is one of the chief guests for this event.
For the past few days, there have been numerous speculations in Telugu media that Sandeep wanted to direct Animal with Mahesh Babu, but couldn’t do it as the script was turned down by the latter.
Finally, these rumours were put to rest by Sandeep Reddy during his press interaction in Hyderabad ahead of the pre-release event.
When a media person asked whether he narrated Animal script first to Mahesh Babu, Sandeep categorically stated that it was a different one with the title ‘Devil’. He also revealed that Mahesh didn’t reject the script, but the project didn’t materialize due to other reasons. He added it would have more violent film than Animal.
Sandeep already divulged that he plans to do a film with Mahesh Babu in the future after completing projects with Prabhas and Allu Arjun.
