Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Sankranti film Guntur Kaaram is on the brink of completing the shooting formalities this week. The makers have already confirmed that the Trivikram Srinivas directional will hit the screens on January 12th worldwide and attempts are underway to wind up all activities very soon.
On the eve of Christmas, a new poster featuring Mahesh Babu in a suave look from the sets of Guntur Kaaram has been unveiled by the team. Mahesh is seen with folded hands sporting an adorable smile in a black shirt. This classy look is in complete contrast to the mass and high-voltage posters that have been released by the team so far. Wishing a Happy Christmas, the poster reiterates that the film is on track for Sankranti release.
Soon after wrapping up the shoot, Mahesh will head to a foreign country to ring in the New Year celebrations. He will return in the first week of January and take part in the pre-release event during which the theatrical trailer will be out.
Guntur Kaaram is billed as a rural drama with a political backdrop. Mahesh plays a massy character in this film which revolves around the popular Guntur Mirchi Yard. Sree Leela and Meenakshii Chaudhary are the female leads.
Haarika and Hassine Creations banner is bankrolling the film. SS Thaman is composing the tunes.
