The General Secretary of TDP, Nara Lokesh who was all set for his padayatra had visited the Tirumala Temple of Lord Balaji and had the blessings of the divine. The MLC from TDP however had to wait one hour like all other normal devotees in the queue for the darshan.
The TDP activists and supporters of Tirumala Tirupati responded immediately after the darshan of Lokesh regarding the delay. The TDP leader, B Tech Ravi declared that the ruling party YSRCP had played tricks and used its power to influence TTD officials and intentionally made Lokesh wait in the queue line despite being an MLC. He claimed that Lokesh was an MLC and he has all the rights to walk directly under the standard MLC protocol that was followed for all the VIPs and declared that Lokesh indeed took the permission before the entry.
The followers of TDP are fuming at the TTD Board and YSRCP for bringing Politics even into the holy place of Tirumala Temple while the YSRCP supporters state that it was not a big deal waiting in line for an hour. But the political analysts ask Lokesh to take this example as a sample of what may come from the YSRCP government in the upcoming days while he does the Padayatra.
