Strongly lamenting former chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy accusing failure of law and order during the present government, minister Nara Lokesh accused that YCP’s foundations are crimes and atrocities.He reminded that as chief minister he had never reviewed on law and order though thousands of people died during his regime.
He alleged that the YCP chief was busy in making money by spreading ganja and drugs for 5 years and creating a maniac in every village to harass the people. He said that the criminals were given license to live as they wanted and encouraged those who molested women, besides giving party tickets to those who smuggled red sandalwood.
To this extent, he raised several questions to the YCP chief on social media X platform:
1. During your 5-year rule, 2,027 women were brutally murdered. 30,000 women disappeared. Have you ever approached a single woman and consoled her? Did you condemn her at least once? Did you review her case at least once?
2. Five persons gang-raped a 12-year-old girl in Konaseema district during your rule. An 8-year-old girl was raped in Srikakulam district. A young woman was stabbed to death 11 times in Vijayawada. If a young woman was raped in Sitanagar near your house, you did not react at least. There are hundreds of such incidents.
3. During your 5 years of rule, your entire gang attacked SCs and STs at will. 192 SCs and 58 STs were killed. Minorities were also attacked. Could there be a worse incident in the state than the Abdul Salam family incident? Ibrahim was killed on the road in Narasaraopet, who wanted to protect the Waqf properties. Mishh, a class 10 student in Palamaner, studies well. She committed suicide due to harassment by a YCP leader, as she is getting more marks than his daughter. The minority girl child was denied the freedom to study hard. Are you talking about law and order Jagan?
4. You are propagating the Disha law that does not exist. If the Center sent it back saying that there were flaws in the Disha Act, then it was not taken care of again. In the name of non-existent law, police stations were installed and the app was downloaded. Is there any person punished with death punishment for raping a girl under Disha? Why false life pictures?
5. Every crime in the state is caused by the ganja mafia you nurtured. Wherever you find ganja in the country, its roots are in AP. Have you ever reviewed cannabis?
6. We have installed 14,770 automatic CC cameras in the state between 2014-19. Isn’t it true that if the police had body warning cameras, they were shelved after you arrived? Not you smash the automatic fingerprint identification system? Isn’t all this your plan to protect the criminals in your party?
7. When the coalition government came, it was working to weed out the poisonous seeds you had planted in the society for 5 years. We have brought many programs within 120 days. First we focused on ganja. We are putting an iron foot on the crimes taking place under the influence of ganja. We take immediate action and arrest the perpetrators of any incident. We are setting up fast track courts depending on the severity of the case. We are taking all measures to bring these psychos under control. However, some unfortunate incidents are happening. Actions are taken immediately. Not sleeping like you.
8. It is Chandrababu’s history of suppressing the factionalism that you and your family nurtured in Seema. Chandrababu has a history of arresting even his own party leaders.
