Vizag: The Andhra Pradesh Congress President, Sharmila, attended a meeting held in Chintapalli, Alluri district, this evening, where she launched a scathing attack on CM Jagan. She questioned Jagan’s earlier commitment to a complete alcohol ban, highlighting the current sale of liquor by the government despite his previous promises. Sharmila accused Jagan of being under the influence of the BJP, criticizing his failure to secure special category status for Andhra Pradesh.
She challenged Jagan’s leadership, likening his stance to that of a submissive cat in front of the BJP. Drawing parallels with Alluri Seetharama Raju’s defiance against oppressive rulers, Sharmila called for the ousting of dictatorial leaders in the state. She emphasized the need for political parties, both ruling and opposition, to prioritize the welfare of the people.
