In view of the Telangana elections on November 30th, the Congress party has released its manifesto under the name Abhayahastam. Through its manifesto, the Congress government has focussed majorly on the farmers. AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge released the manifesto with 62 main points with 42 pages.
Along with the already-released 6 guarantees, Congress promised to fill 2 lakh jobs in the first year, a transparent government job recruitment process, a loan waiver of Rs. 2 lakh for farmers, a new agricultural policy, formation of farmer commission, payment of old dues including fee reimbursement to students are the other main promises.
After releasing the manifesto, Mallikarjun Kharge criticized the BJP and the BRS party. He stated that the current BRS party is drowned in corruption. He pointed out that the 5 guarantees promised by the Congress in Karnataka were fulfilled in a short time and this trend is going to repeat in Telangana.
