LIVE : TDP announces Second List for AP Assembly polls

Amaravati: The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has unveiled its second list of 34 candidates. Among them, Gorantla Buchaiah Chowdary secured a seat from Rajahmundry Rural constituency as the incumbent MLA. Palla Srinivasa Rao has been nominated as the TDP contender for Gajuwaka, a constituency where Pawan Kalyan had contested in the previous elections. Chintamaneni Prabhakar has been re-nominated for the Denduluru seat.

Yarapatineni Srinivasa Rao is contesting for the Gurajala seat, while Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, who recently joined TDP from YSRCP, has been announced as the candidate for Atmakur. Rajya Sabha member Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy’s wife Vemireddy Prasanthi Reddy for the Kovur assembly constituency.

Inturi Nageswara Rao is making his electoral debut from the Kandukuru constituency in Prakasam district, historically aligned with Congress and later with YSRCP. Challa Ramachandra Reddy (Babu) secured the TDP ticket for the Punganur constituency, currently represented by Minister Peddireddy. Additionally, TDP has fielded sitting MLA Koneti Adimoolam from Satyavedu, who had defected from YSRCP. In the initial list, TDP had declared 94 candidates. With the addition of the second list, a total of 128 candidates have been announced.
