He highlighted the government’s recent mistreatment of pensioners over the past two months, claiming that this harassment led to the deaths of tens of thousands of elderly individuals in April and May. During a press conference, Devineni Uma urged the government to ensure that June pensions are distributed at home by secretariat staff. He warned that officials responsible for the hardships faced by the elderly would be held accountable, accusing the government of deliberately targeting senior citizens.
