Hyderabad: On Thursday, Anumula Revanth Reddy was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Telangana, marking him as the first Congress CM of the youngest state in India. The inauguration occurred at Hyderabad’s LB Stadium, where Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka also took the oath as the Deputy CM of the state.
The swearing-in ceremony saw the presence of Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, and the participation of party leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi. Notable figures such as Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah, Deputy CM DK Shivakumar, and Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu also attended the event.
