Adilabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi commenced his two-day visit to Telangana by laying the foundation stone for various development initiatives in Adilabad district. Projects worth Rs. 7,000 crore were initiated during this event. A notable moment occurred as Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy shared the stage, accompanied by Governor Tamilisai, Union Minister Kishan Reddy, and other dignitaries. Revanth Reddy warmly welcomed Modi upon his arrival in Adilabad, presenting him with a shawl as a gesture of respect.
Addressing the audience, Revanth Reddy emphasized a collaborative approach between the state and central governments, stressing the importance of prioritizing development over political differences. He urged Prime Minister Modi to support Telangana’s initiatives, including the Musi river development and metro rail expansion projects. Additionally, Revanth Reddy highlighted the need for fulfilling the state’s energy generation goals as outlined in the bifurcation act. Modi, in response, assured full cooperation from the Central Government in Telangana’s development endeavors.
