Former Bhimavaram MLA Pulaparthi Anjaneyulu has joined the Jana Sena Party, with party chief Pawan Kalyan addressing the gathering. Kalyan asserted his readiness to fight, recalling an incident during the 2019 elections where certain leaders intervened, pleading not to scold them as they were his relatives. “After politics, there’s no familial bond,” he emphasized. Pawan Kalyan noted that allegiance lies solely with his faction or a rival group, mentioning that the leaders who obstructed him are no longer affiliated with the party.
Discussing the current alliance, Pawan Kalyan mentioned contesting only a limited number of seats, acknowledging criticism for this decision. “Had we won even one seat in the 2019 elections, we’d have been in a better position to negotiate for more seats now,” he reflected. “Our past mistakes linger, and this is our rectification,” he affirmed. Despite this, he credited the pivotal role played by the 2019 election runner-up in facilitating an alliance previously deemed improbable. He attributed this achievement to the support and resilience of the people.
