Is that the language Revanth Reddy uses as chief minister? The BRS chief and former chief minister KCR remarked that he refrained from using such derogatory language during his tenure in office, except during moments of activism. Speaking at a public gathering in Kadanabheri organized by BRS in Karimnagar, KCR reminisced, “Karimnagar is a cradle of struggles… It was from this soil that our fight began.” He recalled the days when mentioning ‘Telangana’ in the Assembly was forbidden, stating, “I resigned from my position as Union Minister and fought for Telangana.” “There are instances where people might feel deceived… Similarly, the Congress party emerged victorious in the last assembly elections,” KCR noted.

“The Congress party made 420 promises. If a farmer raises concerns, a minister is instructed to slap him with a slipper; if he demands water and electricity, he’s labeled a troublemaker,” he expressed. “Is this the language befitting a chief minister?” KCR questioned. “Can a chief minister declare himself a human bomb? That’s what was said,” he added. “They are not reprimanded… ‘If I wish to speak, I will continue speaking until this time tomorrow,’ ” he emphasized. “I too made such statements only during moments of activism,” KCR clarified. Throughout his ten-year tenure as chief minister, he asserted never to have made such remarks. “The people have entrusted you with power… Let’s strive to do better,” he urged. “But why use language suggesting we’ll be crushed?” he pondered. “We have provided round-the-clock electricity,” he concluded.
