Hyderabad: a massive fire engulfed Ankura Hospital near Pillar no 68 of PVNR Expressway in the Jyothinagar area of Mehdipatnam. The blaze, suspected to have originated from a short circuit, ignited on the top floor of the Gudimalkapur facility at approximately 5:30 PM. Upon noticing the fire, the hospital promptly notified the local police, who, in turn, swiftly alerted the fire department to the scene.
Five fire tenders from nearby stations responded promptly to tackle the flames and successfully brought the situation under control. Despite the intensity of the fire, fortunately, no casualties have been reported.
