In Mangalagiri, senior TDP leader and former minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao addressed the media at the party’s central office, expressing concern over the potential implementation of the YSRCP code instead of the election code. He warned that officials who make mistakes under such circumstances would face consequences. He highlighted recent actions taken against officials for alleged errors in implementing the election code, including the removal of an IG and three collectors from their election duties.
He further accused Sajjala Bhargava Reddy of orchestrating a fake factory in Tadepalli and spreading false news from the Next Space Building. He claimed that documents related to heritage, Chandrababu’s case, and the Inner Ring Road case were destroyed in SIT and CID offices, with the responsible officer subsequently transferred to Assam.
Devineni Uma criticized the YSRCP’s bus yatra for its lack of public participation, suggesting that coercion was employed to ensure attendance at political meetings. He accused the YSRCP of fostering an atmosphere of fear in the state and spreading false propaganda. In contrast, Rao asserted that the alliance aims for development and welfare.
