Hyderabad: The newly appointed Chief Minister of Telangana, Revanth Reddy, officially took charge at the state Secretariat on Thursday. Following his oath ceremony at L.B. Stadium, Chief Minister Reddy, accompanied by his ministers, proceeded to his office located on the sixth floor of the Secretariat. Joined by his wife, Chief Minister Reddy conducted a puja ceremony, accompanied by Vedic hymns performed by a group of priests.
Taking his seat in the Chief Minister’s office, he received blessings from the priests and then proceeded to sign specific files brought by Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari and other high-ranking officials. The commencement of Chief Minister Reddy’s tenure marked the initiation of the first State Cabinet meeting at the Secretariat. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and 11 other ministers were attended the meeting.
