TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu addressed the Mangalagiri Jayaho BC Sabha, urging attendees to disseminate the BC declaration jointly released by Jana Sena and TDP to every household with pride. Chandrababu emphasized that the BC declaration was not drafted haphazardly but was the culmination of extensive deliberations involving 56 empowered committees representing 153 castes over three years, including insights gathered during Lokesh’s padayatra. He hailed the BC declaration as a landmark event, underscoring the historic collaboration between Jana Sena and TDP.

Chandrababu stressed TDP’s longstanding commitment to the welfare of BCs, urging them to recognize and reciprocate the party’s support ingrained in their collective identity. He also pledged to increase pensions to Rs 4,000 if TDP-Jana Sena came into power, highlighting the government’s phased pension increments. He attributed the persistent challenges faced by many to economic, social, and political backwardness, underscoring the need for inclusive policies like BC reservations in politics, championed by TDP. In a visionary move, he reaffirmed TDP’s commitment to fight for 33 per cent reservation for BCs in legislatures, portraying it as a crucial step towards equitable representation and effective leadership development.
