TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu participated in a prajagalam sabha at Tadikonda in Guntur district this evening, where he addressed the issue of Amaravati’s capital status. He emphasized that Amaravati is non-negotiable and cannot be relocated, highlighting the significant contribution of 29,000 farmers who surrendered 35,000 acres of land for its development. Naidu also acknowledged the support provided by the Centre for Amaravati.
Reflecting on his past achievements, Chandrababu mentioned his role in establishing Cyberabad and transforming Hyderabad into a bustling metropolis. He pointed out that the Hyderabad International Airport was developed on 5,000 acres of land during his tenure. Chandrababu attributed the current prosperity of Telangana, particularly its high per capita income, to the groundwork laid during his leadership.
Furthermore, Chandrababu expressed his ambition to elevate Amaravati to the status of the number one city in India and one of the premier capital cities globally. He lamented that despite his efforts to develop Vijayawada and Guntur into model capitals, criticism from certain quarters persisted.
