Kavitha has not been implicated in the Delhi liquor case. The BRS MPs conveyed optimism regarding her exoneration. Party MPs Nama Nageswara Rao, Suresh Reddy, Vaddiraju Ravichandra, and Manne Srinivas Reddy addressed the media in New Delhi on Friday. They alleged that Kavitha’s arrest by the BJP government was motivated by political vendetta. They lamented that Kavitha was apprehended without regard for her gender. They cited past instances of the BJP’s alleged conspiracy against the Shiv Sena. They criticized the ED for purportedly intimidating state governments that resisted the BJP through raids.
The BRS MPs emphasized that state governments should devise policies based on their respective conditions. They decried the politicization of Kavita’s involvement in Delhi’s liquor policy. They accused the BJP of conducting raids and arrests on non-compliant parties during the Lok Sabha elections. They urged support for the BRS in Telangana, citing the government’s successful welfare schemes, particularly for farmers, over the past decade. The BRS MPs vehemently protested Kavitha’s arrest, expressing confidence in her eventual vindication.
