TDP leader Bonda Uma claimed he faced persistent harassment from the police after submitting his nomination. He asserted that yesterday, a large contingent of officers surrounded their office, including two ACPs, four CIs, six SIs, and several constables.
Uma alleged that when Chief Minister Jagan was supposedly attacked by Gulakarai, an innocent minor was falsely accused and detained. Additionally, he claimed that the parents of Vemula Satheesh, who were in custody, were being unlawfully held.
Expressing concern, Uma stated that the police threatened to incarcerate Satheesh’s son indefinitely unless they provided a statement under section 164, as requested. He lamented that the police seemed to be under the control of criminals, operating like puppets in their hands.
