YSRCP leader Ambati Rambabu criticized Chandrababu for allegedly urging leaders to seek tickets and contest elections under the TDP banner, citing recent departures from his party. Rambabu highlighted the defections of Lavu Krishnadevaraya and Janga Krishnamurthy, emphasizing the TDP’s struggle to recruit candidates. While Rambabu admitted to criticizing Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan, he asserted that he never resorted to personal attacks. However, he condemned Chandrababu’s disparaging remarks.
Speaking to the media on Sunday, Minister Ambati remarked that the TDP faced widespread rejection during the Andhra Pradesh assembly election campaign, with dwindling attendance even in small-scale meetings. He accused Chandrababu of lacking the moral authority to criticize CM Jagan, alleging his disregard for his party’s candidates and facing internal criticism from leaders like Kanna Lakshminarayana.
Ambati Rambabu predicted a sweeping victory for the YSRCP, with Jagan returning as CM, citing corroborating survey data. He attributed Chandrababu’s purported frustration to the inevitability of defeat, suggesting that Pawan Kalyan would also face electoral setbacks due to sporadic campaigning habits. Ambati questioned Pawan’s commitment to politics, citing his irregular engagement.
