CM YS Jagan addressed the YSRCP’s preparatory meeting at Medarametla in Bapatla district, expressing gratitude to the people for their support. “I salute this people’s army who has come to bless me for another five years,” he remarked. He emphasized the readiness of the people, likening it to a formidable force and a vast sea. “North Andhra, the north coast, and Rayalaseema are prepared, and now the south coast is also ready,” he declared, likening the upcoming elections to the Kurukshetra war, where the people represent Lord Krishna and he, Arjuna.
Jagan highlighted the absence of political star campaigners like Chandrababu and media support like Eenadu and TV5. “There is no yellow media spreading lies. We’re going to the polls alone, with each household serving as our star campaigners,” he stated. As the elections draw nearer, Jagan noted Chandrababu’s anxiety upon hearing his name, attributing it to fear of the development brought by his government. He criticized Chandrababu’s alliances formed out of desperation and mocked his role as an “adopted son” in exchange for a package deal. Jagan criticized Chandrababu’s opportunistic behavior and theatrics, highlighting his inconsistency in alliances and political posturing.
