KVP once again came into the limelight and made some startling comments on the sensational case of YS Viveka Reddy’s murder case. This former Congress leader openly took a stand against the ruling party’s chief.
Viveka’s murder shook the state a couple of years back and to date, there is no big progress as the Andhra Pradesh government’s progress is not satisfactory. None other than Viveka’s nephew YS Jagan has been accused of protecting the real culprits behind this murder and with the appeal of Viveka’s daughter in the High Court, now the case is moved to the CBI and a deep investigation has been probed.
In this regard, KVP who is considered the soul mate of demised leader YS Rajasekhar Reddy, despite his friendship went against his bestie’s son and his government. He stated that the culprits would have been caught and arrested had YSR been alive.
The senior congress leader indirectly stated that it was the AP CM Jagan who is protecting the murderers or else the case would have been solved by now. KVP also opined that if a public figure and YSR’s brother won’t get justice, then the common man would never get any sort of help from the state government.
Observing his comments, it is evident that KVP took potshots at Jagan and his team in Viveka’s case. Political circles are in deep discussions regarding KVP turning against Jagan amidst the increasing anti-incumbency and damaging the credibility of YSRCP.
