BRS Working President KT Rama Rao, who attended the ACB headquarters on Monday responding to the notices in Formula-E Race Car case for investigation, has returned back as his legal team was not allowed inside to be present during the probe.
Moreover, he accused that `Revanth Reddy Constitution’ is being followed in Telangana presently denying him fundamental rights that the constitution provides to him. He deplored that the ACB summoned him though there is no need to call him for an investigation after the High Court reserved its verdict that the High Court has reserved its judgement against his petition. But, he said that he arrived here as a law-abiding citizen.
He wondered whether the Indian Constitution or Revanth’s Constitution is running in Telangana? The ACB officials objected to him coming with a legal team and stopped KTR on the road for about 45 minutes. He said that he is attending here though today is the second death anniversary of his father-in-law.
He alleged that the police conspired to conduct a raid on his house by keeping him in the ACB office on the plea of investigation and he expressed suspicion that they may plant some illegal things in his house and claim it was seized from there.
KTR claimed that all the information that is being asked of him is with the government. “Even though I made a decision in the government as a minister in the past, they are mistaking that I have the information. All the information that is being misconstrued is with the government. I have already stated my argument in court. The court reserved its verdict”, he added.
He demanded the ACB officials to give him in writing that he does not have the right to take the assistance of lawyers as a citizen during investigation. He asserted that no matter how many raids are carried out, no matter how many attention diversions are made, the BRS will not stop its struggle against anti-people policies of the state government.
“I have come to give a written reply to the notices given to me by the ACB. However, the police are preventing me from even going inside”, he said and returned from there as the police did not allow him to attend the hearing with his lawyer. He gave his response to the ACB officials on the road.
