KTR Urges BRS Workers to Secure Decisive Victory Against Congress in Parliamentary Polls

Monday, December 23, 2024

Hyderabad: K T Rama Rao, working president of the BRS, urged party members to ensure a resounding victory for the party in the upcoming parliamentary polls, dealing a significant blow to the Congress. Speaking at a party meeting in the Jubilee Hills Assembly constituency, he alleged a clear case of collusion between the Congress and BJP in the state, characterizing it as a form of match-fixing.

KTR claimed that the Congress would field placeholder candidates against prominent BJP figures in various Lok Sabha election constituencies in the state, emphasizing the unusual unity between the two parties against the BRS. He cautioned the public that supporting the Congress could indirectly benefit the BJP in the state, urging vigilance against the machinations of both parties.

Asserting that the BRS should secure victory in the Secunderabad parliamentary constituency, Rama Rao criticized Union Minister G Kishan Reddy, stating that he lacks the moral authority to seek votes for another term. KTR argued that despite holding the position of a Union Minister, Reddy had failed to implement significant development programs or projects for the constituency, making his re-election unjustified.
