In Rajanna Sircilla, BRS working president and MLA Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) urged the government to provide water to farmers’ fields, stressing the sincerity of the state’s farmers. Speaking at a comprehensive meeting of BRS Veernapalli Mandal workers in Sircilla constituency, KTR criticized the Congress for failing to deliver water to crops, attributing the current drought-like conditions to the party’s governance. KTR asserted that the state is not facing a drought caused by natural factors but rather one induced by the Congress party’s policies. He accused the Congress of making false promises, citing 420 unfulfilled commitments, and highlighted the public’s dissatisfaction with the Congress’s 100-day rule and KCR’s 10-year tenure.
KTR expressed confidence that under KCR’s leadership, initiatives like the Kaleswaram project would swiftly address water scarcity issues. Additionally, he rallied support for BRS candidate Vinod Kumar in the upcoming parliamentary elections and urged the Congress to release funds to assist farmers before the imposition of the election code of conduct. Moreover, he called for a strong turnout at the Kathana Bheri event in Karimnagar on the 12th of the month to ensure its success.
