BRS working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) said on Wednesday that if the Congress government doesn’t keep its promises, the BRS will stand up for the people. Speaking to the media, KTR stated that the party, with 39 MLA seats given by the people of Telangana, will act as a responsible opposition. He mentioned that fighting for important causes is not new for the party, which emerged from such actions. KTR assured that the BRS, led by K Chandrashekar Rao, would perform well in the opposition role.

During his first visit to Sircilla after the election, KTR addressed party workers at Telangana Bhavan. He referred to the election defeat as a minor setback but encouraged party members, saying they would bounce back successfully.

Acknowledging the natural disappointment after a defeat, KTR reassured everyone that there was no need to worry since the people had given the BRS two chances. He pointed out the Congress’s big promises, such as waiving farm loans and providing homes for the homeless, and urged people to keep a close eye on these commitments.

KTR emphasized that if the government fails to keep its promises, the BRS will speak up and fight for the people.
