Hyderabad: BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) is facing mounting legal challenges in the Formula E race case. The Telangana High Court recently dismissed his quash petition seeking to nullify the FIR filed by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB). Adding to his troubles, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued fresh summons, directing him to appear before them on January 16.
The case, which revolves around alleged financial irregularities in organizing the Formula E race in Hyderabad, is witnessing rapid developments.
Amid these setbacks, KTR took to social media with a resolute statement, asserting his commitment to fighting the charges.
“Mark my words , I will emerge stronger from these setbacks. Your lies cannot stop me, your accusations will not diminish me, your actions will not distract me, and your conspiracies will not silence me. Today’s obstacles will pave the way for tomorrow’s success. Truth will prevail with time. I have immense respect for our judicial system and unwavering faith in justice. My fight for the truth will continue, and the world will witness it soon,” KTR tweeted.
KTR’s statement comes at a critical time when the ED is intensifying its probe. The agency is reportedly investigating fund transfers and alleged violations in organizing the high-profile race, which took place in Hyderabad last year.
