KTR Concerns Over Missing Telangana Government Websites Data

Sunday, December 22, 2024

BRS Working President KT Rama Rao (KTR) expressed his displeasure over the absence of important information on the Telangana government’s websites and social media handles. He took to Twitter to address Telangana Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari, urging her to intervene immediately.

KTR pointed out that after the formation of the Congress government in December 2023, crucial information on the Telangana government’s websites and social media handles has disappeared. Some significant websites have been completely removed. Initially, these sites were taken down under the guise of maintenance, but it now appears to have been a deliberate act. There is suspicion of corruption behind the removal of this information and the disappearance of some websites.

He noted that KCR ruled the state as Chief Minister from June 2014 to December 2023, and thousands of photos, videos, and important information related to his tenure have been removed from the government websites and social media accounts.

KTR emphasized that important content should be preserved in archives and condemned the removal, stating that future generations will not forgive the destruction of this valuable public property. He called on the Chief Secretary to take responsibility for preserving this information. He also promised to provide details of the deleted websites and social media accounts soon, expressing hope that the issue would be resolved promptly.
