BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) issued a direct challenge to Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, urging him to undergo a live lie detector test alongside him to address allegations against both leaders. Speaking to the media after his appearance before the Enforcement Directorate (ED), KTR expressed his readiness to face any form of scrutiny.
Referring to the cases against them, KTR said, “Let us sit together before officials and the public for questioning. The truth will be revealed, and it will become clear who is at fault.”
KTR alleged that cases against him were politically motivated, claiming they were a retaliation for similar cases filed against Revanth Reddy. He proposed conducting the lie detector test at any location, including Revanth Reddy’s residence, a judge’s house, or even in court. “I am ready for this challenge. Is Revanth Reddy ready?” KTR questioned.
During his media interaction, KTR reiterated his respect for the law, stating that he appeared before the ED despite no involvement in corruption. “I have been questioned in the E-Formula Racing case, but I am confident in proving my innocence. The ED repeated the same queries posed by the ACB earlier, but I am ready to cooperate as many times as required,” he explained.
Emphasizing his belief in the judiciary, KTR declared, “I have not committed any wrongdoing. If I am found guilty, I am prepared to accept any punishment. My trust in the courts and judges remains unwavering.”
KTR ended his remarks with a pointed challenge to the Chief Minister: “Are you willing to face a live inquiry before a judge?”
