Kishan Reddy slams Congress Failed Miserably In Implementing Its promises

Thursday, November 21, 2024

Union Minister and State BJP President G Kishan Reddy lamented that Congress governments in Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh and Telangana have failed miserably in implementing their election-eve promises. He said that they are making huge promises before elections, but failing to implement them after coming to power.

The Union Minister said that Congress is not bothering to implement the promises made by the party in the name of declarations, guarantees and manifestos, and cheating the people by winning votes with false promises. He said that the Congress government in Karnataka, Himachal Pradesh and Telangana is the proof of bankrupt and deceitful politics.

Stating that the Congress has been in power in Telangana nearly for a year, he lamented that the government has not given any answer as to when and how the promises made will be implemented? He said that no matter which state elections are held, it is adopting a deceptive attitude by making endless promises, regardless of the economic conditions of that state.

He expressed concern that if states go bankrupt, education, healthcare and welfare will be affected. The poor and the common man will be the ones who will lose. The Union Minister said that the Congress government should know this.

He reminded that the Congress party had made many promises in Himachal Pradesh such as 300 units of free electricity, bonus per liter of milk, purchase of cow dung at the rate of two rupees per kilo, 5 lakh jobs, Rs. 1500 for every woman… and had cheated them without implementing them.

He said that the Chief Minister himself had announced that the issue of free bus travel for women in Telangana could not be implemented properly and that he would reconsider it. He said that the state government had not paid the dues to Genco and Transco, which had led to the inability to generate electricity properly in the state.

He said that while the BRS party had submerged the Telangana state, which was formed with a surplus budget, in its ten years of rule and incurred a debt of more than 7 lakh crores, the Congress would incur a debt of one lakh crore rupees before the year was over. While Sonia Gandhi family is dominant in the Congress party, he said that the KCR family is dominant in the BRS. He lamented that the respective families in those parties were involved in corruption and did not implement the promises made.
